Bijar
(or Bidjar) Kurdish rugs are often called the Iron Rugs of Iran that used to be a heavy durable rug. Now it is woven more finer thinner weave. Bijar is a town in North-West Iran. The name is derived from its town.

It became quite a rage in Bhadohi/Mirzapur belt in 1970s onward. Here it is woven as heavy as well as in thinner weave.

The rug's (Bidjar-5) pile is 100% wool having 180 kpsi (knots per sq inch).
